the aim of this work is to explore the clinical characteristics, therapeutic interventions and short term outcomes of preterm or term infants who required respiratory support.This study was conducted on fifty five respiratory distress neonates in NICU of Zagazig university hospital during the period from February to August 2010.The patients in our study were subjected to:All treatment groups were well balanced with respect to potential prognostic factors, improved survival in all groups but with no statistical significance.
