Evaluation of Microdermabrasion in Treatment of Some Pigmented Skin lesion

microdermabrasion is a simple, rapid procedure that can be repeated easily at short intervals. All patients enrolled in our study-except one- were females, we observed that melasma was common among young adult and adult groups, but post-burn hyperpigmentation was common in children while post-eczema hyperpigmentation was prevalent in children and young adult Most of the studied patients showed somewhat satisfactory degree to microdermabrasion (P = 0.009), with the highest degree of satisfaction among young adults and the least degree of satisfaction among children and adults (P= 0.15).Most of the patients showed mild response to microdermabrasion (14 out of 20 patients), and most of them were moderately satisfied (13 out of 14); while all patients (4 cases) with moderate response were satisfied.
