Abstract:
The present study aimed to use TDI to determine whether a quantitative estimation of E/E` provides more reliable information for detecting coronary artery disease during dobutamine stress echocardiography. This study included 30 patients referred for evaluation of their chest pain. divided into 2 groups according to angiographic results:Group I: includes normal patients i.e. coronary artery free by coronary angiography (N=11) 4 males (36.4 %) and 7 females (63.6%).Group II: includes coronary artery diseased patients (N=19) diagnosed by coronary angiography. 16 male (84.2%) and 3 females (15.8%).According to the results dobutamine stress echocardiography, patients divided into: - symptomatic and non symptomatic at stress. And divided into inducible and non inducible ischemia according to the presence of inducible wall motion abnormalities.
