Abstract:
AbstractLMs occur as a wide spectrum from localized masses to areas of diffuse infiltration of chylous fluid cummulations in various body cavities.LMs are usually noted at birth but can be seen at any age or even parentally by fetal ultrasonography. The skin and soft tissues are most commonly affected. LMs can involve the subcutaneous tissues, muscle, bone, and more rarely, internal organs such as the gastrointestinal tract and lungs. Anatomic sites frequently seen are the axialla and thorax, cervicofacial region, mediastinum, retroperitoneum, buttock, and anogenital regions.
