Bone sarcoma is a rare aggressive malignant bone tumor mostly affects children and young adults. They appear in almost all types of bone but mostly in long bones the most common types are :Osteosarcoma, chondrosarcoma, Ewing’s sarcoma, and fibrosarcoma .This study was done during the period from December 2008 to April 2010. Thirty patients were examined using the magnetic resonance imaging, computed tomography and plain radiography in all cases. Our results showed that the male: female ratio is 1.5:1, the most frequently affected age group was [10-<15] which represents 30% of the cases, while the least age group affected was [0-<5] and [>25] which together represent 13.3% of cases. Long bones were affected in 76.7% of cases. The most affected bone is the femur representing 33% of cases, followed by the tibia which represents 16.7, humerus and the pelvic bones ; each representing 13.3% of cases. The location of tumors in long bones was diaphyseal in 43.5% of cases and metadiaphyseal in 47.8% of cases. The intra-osseous component of the tumor was [<8 cm] in 46.4% of cases and [>8cm] in 53.6% of cases. Associated extra-osseous soft tissue component was found in 80% of cases.
