Abstract:
The distal radius fractures are very common injuries. They were known even before the invention of the radiography. They have many ways of treatment conservatively and operatively but the introduction of the recent minimally invasive techniques improves its management and avoids the known complications of the traditional methods of treatment. It is recommended to give the chance for the recent techniques to take place of the old techniques as it provides early mobilization, minimal soft tissue injury and rapid return to the usual work.
