Prevalence and recognition of abdominal compartment syndrome in trauma patietns admitted to emergency ICU at Zagazig University Hospital

The aim of this study is to evaluate ACS as frequent co-finding and a cause of morbidity and mortality following major trauma in the emergency ICU at hospital.Objectives:- Detection of the incidence of the abdominal compartment sundrome among trauma patients.- Identification of the potentially etiological factor for ACS.- Evaluation of the time of ICU stay and hospital stay.- Increasing of the awareness among the anesthesiologists and surgeon abut IAH and ACS.
