CONGENITAL ANOMALIES OF THE DIGESTIVE SYSTEM IN THE NEONATES

This work aimed to study the congenital malformation and anomalies of digestive system in neonate. The fetal between the ninth week of gestation until birth and is characterized by rapid growth of the body and maturation of organ systems.Many factors may interact with the differentiating and growing embryos. Most major malformations are produced during the period of embryogenesis. Teratogenic period, between third to eighth week but in stages before and after this time the embryo is also susceptible so that no period of gestation in completely free of risk.Prevention of many birth defects is possible but it depends on beginning preventive measures prior to conception and increasing physicians and women’s awareness in the risk.
