Abstract:
This essay aims to throw light upon regulatory T-cells and discuss their characters, subsets, functions and factors that control their activities allowing them to play an important role in controlling of different immunological responses either to self antigens or to exogenus pathogenic antigens. Then, there is discussion of the important role of regulatory T-cells in immuno-pathogenesis of differnt varities of dermatological diseases including some autoimmune diseases as SLE, psoriasis and some allergic diseases as atopic dermatitis ,allergic contact hypersensitivity and some infectious diseases as HSV, candidiasis and lastly some oncogenic diseases as nevi and melanoma. Finally, this essay gives an idea about recent trends of this tremendously important issue that will be helpful and supportive in discovering of new more effective therapeutics of dermatological diseases in human in the future.
