Abstract:
The aim of this work is studying the relationship between hepatitis c virus and cancer liver in patients having cancer liver in oncology department of Zagazig University hospitals.Hepatitis C Virus (HCV), Is A Viral Infection Of The Liver Which Can Lead To Liver Cirrhosis, Liver Cancer, And Liver Failure. An Estimated 170 Million Persons All Over The World Are Infected With HCV. Egypt Has A High Prevalence Rate Of HCV, And About 10%-20% Of The General Population Are Infected With HCV. Cancer Liver Can Be Prevented By Primary Prevention That Eliminates Exposure To Cancer-Causing Agents, Secondary Prevention That Involves Detecting And Trearment Of Cases, And Tertiary Prevention Through Palliative Care Which Addresses Patient Physical And Psychological Comfort from Diagnosis Till Death, Other Risk Factors That Are Associated With Liver Cancer, Liver Cirrhosis, Which Is Commonly Caused By Alcohol Use, HBV Infection, And Aflatoxins B1 Food Contamination. Tobacco Use, Exposure To Some Chemicals, Some Inherited Diseases Of The Liver, And Patients With A Family History Liver Cancer May Increase The Risk For Cancer Develoment.
