Abstract:
The aim of this study is reviewing the surgical correction of incomplete penoscrotal transposition associated with severe hypospadias. Congenital anomalies of the scrotum are infrequent and are more often found in association with other anomalies of the external genitalia. The four most common scrotal anomalies are penoscrotal transposition, scrotal ectopia, bifid scrotum, and penoscrotal fusion. Although they occur as isolated anomalies, penoscrotal transposition, bifid scrotum, and penoscrotal webbing are usually found in association with hypospadias. Scrotal ectopia may associate with testicular ectopia or undescent.
