Abstract:
Anti liver kidney microsomal typel (LKMI) antibody is the serological marker of type 2 autoimmune hepatitis (AIH-2) can be detected in up to 11% of the HCV - infected subjects. Anti-liver cytosol type 1 (LC1) antibodies have originally been described either in association with anti-LkM 1, or in isolation, and in both instances define a clinical entity indistinguishable from AIH-2. Anti-LCI has also been found occasionally in anti-LKMl positive chronic hepatitis C virus (HCV) infected patients. To spot light on immune changes in persons with hepatitis C virus infection.
