CELL SURFACE EXPRESSION OF LOW DENSITY LIPOPROTEIN RECEPTOR IN TYPE 2 DIABETIC PATIENTS BEFORE AND AFTER INSULIN THERAPY

This work was designed to study cell surface expression of LDL receptor in poorly controlled type 2 diabetic patients on oral antidiabetic drugs.It also aimed to explore LDL receptor response to insulin treatment, and whether this response can affect the lipidemic pattern characteristic of those diabetic patients .
