Effect of some neuromuscular blocking agents on acetylcholine and γ-aminobutyric acid in differnt areas of rat brain

The goal of this study is to explore the effect of atracurium and rocuronium on seizure activity incidence in ICU pateints with septicemia and respiratoty failure, and on acetylcholine (Ach) and gama-amino-butyric acid (GABA) contents in different brain areas of rat. Also to evaluate the effect of pretreatment with (antiepileptic) calcium channel blockes on NMB-induced neurotoxic effects (e.g. seizures).
