Abstract:
Diabetes mellitus is a complex syndrome with genetic predisposition, hyperglycemia in Type 2 diabetes mellitus results from an undefined genetic defects (concordance rate in identical twins 70%).The aim of the present work is to is to the review the current status of molecular genetics in Type 2 diabetes both as research and as possible and actual applications.Key words:Molecular- genetics- diabetes
