Abstract:
This work aimed to study the toxic effects of lead on liver parenchymatus tissue and the gall bladder bile in human and to draw attention to the fact that the cause of abdominal pain may be lead poisoning which may be induced by the changes in the visceral smooth muscle tone secondary to the action of lead on the visceral autonomic nervous system, as well as lead induced alteration in sodium transport in the small intestinal mucosa.
