Over the past few decades, different refractive techniques have been presented to offer the best visual outcome for ametropic patients. However, of all these variable techniques LASIK (laser assisted in situ keratomiluesis) is considered to be the latest and the safest.With proper training, education and caustion, LASIK complications should not be feared, but understood.LASIK complications is considered to be the first step in prevention followed by the accond step of complication management.Key Word:- from keratomileusis to LASIK.- The microkeratome.- LASIK procedure.- LASIK complications.
