Abstract:
The aim of the work is to evaluate the different modalities of the surgical treatment of brachial plexus injuries in infants and adults.Controversies exist regarding the choice of treatment strategies for brachial plexus injuries. These injuries are known for their complexity and there are different methods of surgical treatment. We evaluated the surgical treatment of brachial plexus injuries. The broad principles of management of brachial plexus injuries are: early diagnosis, early assessment of function, early surgical intervention, and aggressive physical therapy punctuated by secondary reconstruction for residual deformities.
