Abstract:
The aim of this work is to evaluate the role of radiofrequency ablation and intra-arterial infusion of a chemotherapeutic agent and embolization of the vascular supply of the HCC . Hepato-celluar carcinoma is considered the most common malignant tumours of the liver .Recent results from multiple investigations indicate that several minimally invasive techniques including RF ablation, microwave ablation, laser ablation, cryotherapy, ethanol ablation and chemoembolization are very effective in treating hepatocellular carcinoma , which are less effective than surgical treatment .
