the rotator interval is an important anatomic region of the anterosuperior glenohumeral joint.it is composed of acomplex interplay of fibers of the coracohumeral ligament,the superior glenohumeral ligament, the glenohumeral joint capsule and the tendons of the supraspinatous and the subscapularis.
