Rapid Detection Of Methicillin–Resistant Staphylococci from Blood Culture Bottles By Using Multiplex Pcr Assay

In this study, we try to evaluate a method for rapid and direct detection of MRS, allowing clinicians to make prompt and effective decisions for the management of patients with staphylococcal bacteremia. Also, we tried to determine the prevalence and outcome of methicillin resistant staphylococcal bacteremia in the intensive care unit of Zagazig university hospital.
