Effect of Regulatory Mechanisms of Immune- pathogenesis in Schistosomiasis

Eventually, while the chronic state of the disease has been reached , fibrosis appears in the granulomas ( Dessein et al., 1999) . Fibrosis is under complex control by a number of cytokines produced by several cell types, but its regulation is clearly independent of regulation of granuloma (Wolowczuk et al. , 1999).Research conducted with DNA as well as investigations with a variety of genes revealed the genetic background of immune regulation in schistosomiasis (Wynn, 2004) .This study is a trial to explain the immune pathogenesis and the mechanisms which regulate the immune response in schistosomiasis .
