Health risk behaviors among students of Zagazig university

Youth risk behavior is a general term used to describe adverse health behaviors adopted in youth , Also it is defined by Lee as ”behaviors that increase the likelihood of adverse physical, social, or psychological consequences”. ( Lee.,2001)Health risk behaviors, which contribute to the leading causes of mortality and morbidity among youth and adults, are often established during youth, extend into adulthood .Youth risk behaviors are interrelated, and are preventable. (Kann et al; 2002)Health risk behaviors include: Tobacco smoking, drinking alcohol and drug abuse, suicide and depression, behaviors that increase risk of injury, dietary behaviors and physical inactivity.
