Abstract:
The present study aim to throw light on the types of biological therapy and its mechanism of action, and to discuss the role of BRMs in different skin diseases and side effects which occurred during treatment. In this article ,we will focus also on what is new in immunotherapy in dermatology. The rapid growth of clinical biology over the past few decades has revealed large number of immune mediated diseases that are due to aberrant immune responses. The understanding of the immune response that drives the development and persistence of the immune mediated diseases has, in turn, led to understand the ways in which biologic agents may interact with immune system. This means a novel treatment that target specific components of the immune system selectively. This line of treatment will be a more potent and specific immuno-modulation avoiding the unwanted effects of over immune suppression or stimulation.
