COGNITIVE FUNCTIONING IN FIRST-EPISODE SCHIZOPHERNIC PATIENTS

This work is conducted with the aim of testing tow main points.(1) Neuropsychological study of cognitive functions in first-episode schizophrenia mainly IQ, memory and executive functions and comparative study with chronic schizophrenia and normal subjects to find out the nature of this dysfunction.(2) Correlates of these cognitive function, especially schizophrenic symptoms, as +ve symptoms,-ve symptoms and cognitive symptoms, and demographic data.
