Abstract:
1- To collect the recent data about the pathogenesis of atherosclerosis2- To discuss the relationship between different Respiratory tract infections (RTI) and incidence, pathogenesis and complication of Ischemic Heart Diseases.3- To try to evaluate the seasonal variation of Myocardial Infarction.4- To discus the effect of antimicrobial treatment in CAD.Cardiovascular disease is predicted to be the most common cause of death worldwide by the year 2020. Half of heart disease patients lack established risk factors such as elevated lipids, hypertension, tobacco abuse, and positive family history. Additionally, these risk factors are generally associated with the disease, and the exact mechanism by which they may contribute to the development of atherosclerosis is not clear. These facts have led investigators to pursue other possible etiologies and factors that may be involved in the etiology and pathogenesis of atherosclerosis and its complications.
