Abstract:
Muscle scleral plication has been described as a strengthening technique. This technique aims mainly at sparing the anterior culinary blood vessels and there is no possible risk of muscle slippage. The study includes 50 patients who were divided into; Group I included 25 patients who were operated using muscle scleral plication. Group II included 25 patients who did resection. We evaluated the results at one week, one month and 3 months after surgery. The success rate of both groups at 3 months follow up was 84% for both techniques.
