STUDY OF THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN VITAMIN B¬12 AND FOLATE SERUM LEVELS & TREATMENT OUTCOME IN MAJOR DEPRESSIVE DISORDER

AIM OF THE WORKThis study aims to:(1) To determine the association between vitamin B12 & folate level & treatment outcome in major depressive disorder patients in Egypt.(2) Because vitamin B12 & folate deficiency may affect haematological indices we tried to determine the association between haematological indices, including mean corpuscular volume, red blod cell count & haematocrit & treatment outcome also.
