Ultrasonographic Study Of The Human Umbilical Cord

The aun of this work is to study the ultrasonographicmorphological features of the huma.’1 umbilical cord including:- Normal length.- Normal coiling of the cord with its coiling index.- Normal vascularity.- Normal site of insertion into the placenta.- Normal appearance.These previous items may be used to identify any abnormalities of the cord and its association with other fetal anomalies. So precise prenatal ultrasonographic depiction of the morphology of the umbilical cord may enhance prenatal management.
