During 2003 to determine also the total number, percentage, types of physical and sexual violence and their relation to different age periods, the effect of civilization level on the degree of violence against females and false alleged and fabricated cases to determine the borders of the problems. All cases of physical and sexual violence referred to Forensic Medicine Administration in Cairo and Sharkia governorates in the year 2002 & 2003 were taken. After taken their consent (including their consent for photography), every case was carefully examined and investigated according to the following medicolegal cheet which includes : Identification ,history of assault, history of treatment & management, generalexamination, local examination, investigations, consultation, follow up and grouping ofcases into : Childhood period ( 0 – 10 years), adulthood period ( 11 –17 years ), reproductive period ( 18 – 40 years ), middle age period ( 41 – 60 years ) and elderlyperiod ( over 60 years ). The statistical method used is chi-square test The present study was revealed that the total number of violence cases during2002 in Cairo were 479 cases versus 312 cases in Zagazig and during 2003, 490 cases in Cairo versus 311 cases but in relation to the total number of population , the percentage was 0.007% in Cairo versus 0.006% in Zagazig during 2002 , 0.006% in both governorates during 2003. there was no significant difference between the physical and the sexual violence against female regarding their types, relation to age, age specific for each type, motivation, period of the hospital treatment, domestic type, complications, seriousness in Cairo and Sharkia governorates during 2002 & 2003 with no apparent effect of civilization level on the violence level cases. These results were concluded from the reported cases only, while the non-reported cases were not known and may great enough to change this view, so this study was just a view on the violence against female in rural versus urban governorates and not distinctive measure, also the small numberof false alleged and fabricated cases in relation to the total number of violence cases reveals the presence of the violence problem.
