Choice of management and outcomes in splenic trauma

We are aimed in our study to compare both haematological andimmunological changes in children and adult between total splenectomysplenorraphy, partial splenectomy and conservative treatment aftertraumatic injuries of the spleen.Our thesis included 30 patients with variable grades of splenic. .- .’injures due to different mechanisms oftrauma, the commonest ofthemwas blunt motor car accendent (in 12 patients =: 40%). Fe males 9 (30%)and males 21 (70%) and children up to 17 years old represented 36.7%our series (11 patients).
