Abstract:
Is to study some markers of hypercoagulability among children withdifferent causes of heart failure The presence of different components of Virchow’s triad in heartfailure leads to an increased risk of thrombogenesis, in particular thepresence of abnormalities of hemostasis, platelets and endothelial functionsuggest that heart failure confers a prothrombotic or hypercoagulable state. This study was done for measurement of hypercoagulation markers inchildren with heart failure. We selected 50 patients with heart failure(group I) and they are compared with 10 control subjects of their healthyrelatives of similar ages (group II).
