Abstract:
Central serous retinopathy is a serous separation of the neuroepithelium of the macular region. It affects healthy young adults between 20 and 50 of age and males are affected more commonly than females (Yannuzzi, 1987).Blurring of vision, positive scotoma, generalized darkening of the visual field, metamorphopsia, micropsia and prolonged recovery from glare are the most common complaints. A history of unusual emotional, mental, physical and psychic stress frequently accompanies the onset of these symptoms.
