Role Of Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) in Diagnosis Of Painful Wrist

This study was performed during the period from january 2000 to December 2002 at radiology department, Zagazig University Hospitals.fafty patients suffering from painful wrist were included in the study 27 mals and 23 females , their age ranged from 10-65 years with a mean of 37.5 years. thierty eight patiients had painful right wrist and twenty three had paninful left wrist eleven patients were bilateral. five normal subjects included as control group for cabal tunnel syndrome the fifty selected pations were classified into six group, trauma 9 cases, avascularvnecroses 8 cases, carpal tunnel syndrome 11 cases arthritis 8 cases inflammatory lesions 5 cases and musculoskeletal neoplasms 9 cases
