Late onset of schizophrenia

Convenient samples of three groups : Late onset schizophrenia (LOS) (32 patients), early onset schizophrenia (EOS) (35 patients), and control group (35 subjects) were systematically assessed. Findings showed a significant difference between LOS and EOS in the above 60 years. This supports the diagnostic validity of the ”very late onset schizophrenia like psychosis” in patients above 60 years..
