Abstract:
1- To study the effects of chronic oral administration of potassium bromate on the kidneys ,thyroid glands and chromosomal patterns of bone marrow cells of adult male albino rats. The kidneys and thyroid glands were investigated histopathologically ,-_Venous blood samples were examined biochemically by measuring blood urea nitrogen (BUN), serum creatinine, Triiodothyronine (T3) , Tetraiodothyronine (T4) and Thyroid Stimulating Hormone (TSH). Also bone marrow cells were examined to detect the structural and numerical chromosomal abnormalities .II- To evaluate the extent of improvement produced by vitamins C, E and C+E supplementations against potassium bromate induced toxic effects ...
