Determination of Serum tonicity Following Exchange Transfusion

exchange transfusion is ultilized in the management of neonatal conditions such as hyperbilirubinemia,R.D.S,sepsis,D.I.C.our work included 27 cases underwnt E.T,15 hyperbilirubinemia,7 neonatal sepsis, 3 D.I.C and 2 cases R.D.S the aim of the work was to evaluate the possible effect of E.T on serum sodium concentration and serum tonicity.
