this work has been performed in the departments of anaesthesiad Pharmacology, Faculty of Medicine, Zagazig University. We aimed tody the effect of amino glycoside antibiotics (gentamycin and amikacin)the neuromuscular blockade produced by atracurium, vecuroniumpancuronium and to compare between them when these antibioticse given intravenously during operation. Also, we aimed to study the”ty of neostigmine to reverse this combined non-depolarizing antibioticThis study included two parts, the experimental part and the’cal part. The experimental part included 45 rats and were divided3 main groups according to the muscle relaxant used. Each groupfurther subdivided into 3 subgroups :-5rats received the muscle relaxant only according to their group.ups B (gentamycin) and C (amikacin)Each subgroup included 5 rats received gentamycin or amikacin, g to their subgroup followed after 30 minutes by the musclet according to their group.
