several people who were evaluated for unexplained chronic bleeding disorders has subnormal a2 antiplasmin levels with otherwise normal coagulation studies.it seems that low levels of a2 antiplasmin is acommon finding among patients with bleeding disorders and that acquired severe deficiency of a2 antiplasmin is aclinically useful marker, for astate characterized by hyperfibrinolysis and ahight incidence of sever bleeding.
