hyperlipidemia has been considered as one of the cardinal features of the nephrotic syndrome.some of serum lipid abnormalities seen in active nephrotic syndrome and persist for several weeks after passing into a remission.these abnormalities are mainly hypercholester-olemia, hypertriglyceridemia,elevation of the LDL and probably vldl.
