Epidemiology of Diabetes in El-sharkia Governorate

the present work was conducted to collect data.in an attempt to throw light on the prevelence of diabetes and its epidemiological characteristics in school age children of sharkia government nine schools -primary and preparatory- in zagazig city wereb included in the study. they comrised 5000 students 2505 boys and 2490 girls.with age range of 6-15 years we chose these schools aiming at including different districts in Z. city from social and educational point of view.
