this study emphasized the importance of the anaesthesiologist in the management of neurosurgical emergencies and patients in the post-operative period in the specialized nicu.this unit receives patients with head injury, brain tumours, spinal cord injury, status epilepticus, critical cases of myasthenia gravis, stroke and neurosurgical post-operative patients.
