the major objective of pediatric intensive care is to provide maximum surveillance and support of vital systems in children with acute but reversible life threading disease. like, circulatory failure, which is mainly due to blood plasma or fluid loss, respiratory failure wich affect a big group of pediatric patient and caused by lesions either in the upper or lower respiratory passage, parenchymal lung lung tissue or chest wall disease, the Management of these patients in the icu is mainly respiratory support with mechanical vetilation using the specific made according to the disease processes.
