the fluorenated inhalational anaesthetics used today influorane, methoxyflurane and isoflurane.we duscussed each of this anaesthetics from the following points of view: the pharmacology of each of this anaesthetics was discussed in deyails including the physical properties, the uptake and distribution , the effect on various body sytems,e.g. the respiratory system, the cardiovascular system, the cental nervous sytem, the muscular system, nephrotoxicity and hepatotoxicity, and also their use in obstetrical anaesthesia.
