Abstract:
Routine biopsy of 73 basal cell carcinoma cases were collected . the samples were cut 3-5um thick section. The samples were cut 3-5um thick sections. The specimens were stained by h and e stain and immunohemical stain, (collagen type iv, laminin and fibronectin) using peroxidase anti-peroxidase anti-peroxidase (pap) technique. The results obtained from the collected samples were: basal cell carcinoma occurred most commonly above age of 60 years (table1). Its incidence in male predominate that of femal (m.1.6:f.1.0) (table2).the most common site of basal cell carcinoma was the face (97.8%) mainly the nose (31.5%) (table,3).
