Incidence And Pattern Of Cerebrovascular Diseases In Patients Admitted To Zagazig Universty Hosoitals Over TWO years Period

The ami of this study is to estimate the incidence ofcerebrovascular diseases in Zagazig University Hospitals over towyears and to estimate the pattern of cerebrovascular diseases amongthese patients and the possible risk factors and sequences of thedisease with hospital care outcome, also we aim to address the causesand natural history ofdisease and the need for hospital and communityservices.2 .We designed this study to estimates the incidence ofcerebrovascular diseases in Zagazig University Hospitals overtow years and to estimate the pattern of cerebrovascular diseasesamong these patients and the possible risk factors.Stroke diagnosis was based on clinical presentation only accordingto WHO defmition of stroke.2308 stroke patients have admitted to hospitals during thetow years of the study period, their ages range from 10 to 96years old with a mean age ± SD (57.22 ±12.45).
