The aim of this study is to investigate the cardioprotective effect ofpostmenopausal hormone replacement therapy. This is to be achieved bythe evaluation of the effects of different hormone replacement therapy(HRT) regimens (oral oestrogen alone or combined and transdennaloestrogen alone or combined) on; lipid profile (serum cholesterol,triglycerides, LDL, and HDL), tissue plasminogen activator (TPA) andplasminogen activator inhibitors (PAl-I) in post menopausal women.4
