Abstract:
In the present study, we aimed to study and evaluate the role of US, CT, ERCP, and MRI in evaluating patients with suspected pancreatic mass. Our study includes 30 patients, 20 male and 10 female withdifferent pancreatic mass. They subjected to US examination thenproceed to CT, MRI, MRCP and ERCP.In this study we found that, the sensitivity and accuracy ofMRI intumor detection and to determine the local extension of these tumors isseems to be inferior to those of CT owing to limited spatial resolution and various artifacts, including chemical shift, motion, pulsation, and susceptibility artifact associated with MRI.
