Clinical and coronary angiographic characted prognosis in patients with non-Q-wave myocardial infarction

This study was carried out in Cardiology Department, Zagazig University, from 1/2/2004 to 1/10/2005. The study included one hundred patients (64 males and 36 females), with age range from 35-77 years with a mean age of 54 ±10.5 years. All patients had non-Q-wave MI with serial dated ECGs, laboratory reports for cardiac markers , and medication sheet.There were 57 patients with anterior wall MI and 43 patients with inferior wall MI.All patients were admitted to CCU and received conventional medical treatment in the form of IV nitrates, LMW heparin, ASA, statins, clopidogril, beta blocker, ACEI and diuretics if needed.All patients were followed up for a month (30 days) including in-hospital and out-hospital periods.
