surgical management of pelvic fractures

this study included 52 cases with unstable pelvic ring injuries-irrespective of isolated acetabular fractures-.the average age of patients was 29,5 years -range;6-53 years-. males-67.3%-were commoner than females with a ratio of 2:1 nearly. most cases resulted from motor-vehicle accidents 75% and falls from a height 19.2%.
